Did my first workout for the month. Maybe I’ll put it up here one day? I feel accomplished afterward so that’s good. I’m trying this whole documenting thing. Yah know … a little workout notebook. Hopefully that works out as well. I tend to stop documenting after a few times. Fracture doesn’t hurt much right now. Ask me again tomorrow. I think it’ll be okay … eek. It’d be nice to look like Beyonce. Not going to lie. I’ll check her out if she was right in front of me. She’s got a good bod. Jealous! But she works SUPER hard for it. Channel Beyonce.

I am like that baby throwing a fit. I’ve finished Gossip Girl … except for Season 6 since it’s not on Netflix. Wahh. Does anyone know where I can watch it? Is it only on Hulu+? I’m thinking about getting that. Everyone sleeps with everyone on that show. And backstab each other every chance they get … yet they stay best friends. Only in shows. But I love it.

I’ve started on Felicity now. Old ass show … but I always loved the main three characters and was too young to watch it fully. Felicity uses a tape recorder recording her words to her friend that lives far away. TAPE. RECORDER. And they talk about beepers. WOW! Brings back memories. Time does fly. Love that most of them still act.

[2013] 019/365: Best Probably Unhealthy Snack Ever

I had a Hong Kong snack day at work today. The best memories ever. I’m not sure how healthy it is for you … but who cares. The seaweed isn’t like the ones from sushi. It’s much crispier. So much yummier.

We use to drink this Lemon Tea when we were little kiddos back in Hong Kong. When we moved to America, we were so happy that they sold it here. We rarely bought it because it’s not that great for you but the times that I do … oh my. I only like Lemon Tea from Hong Kong. The way they make it here just isn’t right.

The seaweed on the other hand was introduced to me by Rachel this past summer. I was a little hesitant to try it but once I did I knew I was hooked. If you have this selling anywhere near you, you need to try it pronto.

I just want to go back to Hong Kong. Who’s down to go with me?

My after workout face. Haven’t taken a selfie in a while. Hair is ratchet. I hate that word but it’s true. I’m wearing my Ellie top if you can’t tell. 😉

Below was my dinner. I love this soup. I made it all throughout college. Water, cabbage, tofu, and Chinese meatballs (or just plain chicken breasts). I got Jenny making it to when we lived together. Oh college. Seemed like years ago.

Workouts have been going well. Come on perfect bod! haha jk.

Okay, so I didn’t take this picture. Obviously.

But do you see those tires? I moved two of those today.

I came home from work and saw my neighbor struggling carrying them off her truck. They’re from a farm and super old so she got two of them for free. She’s going to use them to plant things or make a sandbox or something. How cool, eh?

Anyway, those things are HEAVY and super muddy so I offered to help her out. For two hours we scrubbed them clean and moved them into her backyard. Then washed out her driveway of that leftover mud. Workout for the day: complete.

It was the first time I’ve ever met a neighbor. I just don’t go out enough to be able to do that. But it was nice talking to her. And her kiddos are so cute.

Random Act of Kindness. Accomplished. Did you do something for someone today without expecting anything in return?

6 Months

Today marks half a freaking year … since I’ve been at my big girl job. I’ve met some amazing people that’s made me grow. In my work life AND personal life. I’m glad I have a pretty good balance. Sometimes I focus on work too much and give up my friends but they’re all some amazing friends that understand. Best friendships.

I did a second round for the week of the Jessica Simpson’s Duke of Hazzard Workout.

Who wouldn’t want that body? Ughh … dreaming.

It was harder this time around since I was already sore but no big deals. I beasted that shiet.

I at least got to watch a movie while doing so.

A Little Bit of Heaven … Kate Hudson’s in it … and she has cancer.

Sad movie but it was pretty good. Crying while working out because of a sad movie is the new big thing!

Random talk: Why do random people I don’t know keep trying to add me on Facebook? Facebook is getting creepy and it makes me sad.

They have an all day breakfast menu! Which some of my coworkers opted for.

As for me, I stuck with the lunch menu that happens after 11am.

Turkey Burger Basket [on an egg bun with grilled onions and mushrooms, fries & and drink] | around $11

You get to snazz up your burger however you like with a few bucks.

My fries are humongous because they actually forgot to put it on my plate. Else, it would be right next to my burger and rest assured, way less. To die for. I’ve never tried thin fries that I adore, and these were just perfect. Just the right amount of crispy on the outside and seasoned to perfection.

As for the burger … juicy. Yum. The onions and mushrooms I got added in there definitely made it that much better. I can’t say much for the lettuce. It tasted old and … disgusting so I kind of left it where it laid.

I got my drink of sweet tea [not pictured]. It didn’t taste good at all. Maybe I went on a bad day but the tea was no where near … sweet. It felt very watered down.

I don’t know why I always feel the need to order chili if I can but I did!

I should of said no to the cheese and not to be greedy with the onions. They sure aren’t greedy with the meat though. You will find chunks of ground meat in there. It was really good and I just loved dunking my fries in there.

I really did love this place and I would definitely come back. I’m thinking of bringing the family here one day.

Realizations

Oh fudge.

Bad Realizations:

  • No dress for wedding that’s at the end of THIS month! Where do people buy nice dresses?! Bleugh!
  • Business trip to New Orleans is NEXT weekend! And I found out we all have to present something. Crud.
  • I touch my face and hair TOO much. That means bad skin and oily hair! Eek! Already not doing well for that resolution.
  • My wisdom teeth has got to GO. It’s pushing on the side of my other teeth since it’s growing incorrectly. Boo.

On the upside:

  • I LOVE bows and have been searching for a pretty bow ring but haven’t found one that I like.
  • I want to FOCUS more on my art and my music … my hobbies.
  • I want to start VLOGGING but I have nothing to talk about but it seems cool to do.
