They have an all day breakfast menu! Which some of my coworkers opted for.

As for me, I stuck with the lunch menu that happens after 11am.

Turkey Burger Basket [on an egg bun with grilled onions and mushrooms, fries & and drink] | around $11

You get to snazz up your burger however you like with a few bucks.

My fries are humongous because they actually forgot to put it on my plate. Else, it would be right next to my burger and rest assured, way less. To die for. I’ve never tried thin fries that I adore, and these were just perfect. Just the right amount of crispy on the outside and seasoned to perfection.

As for the burger … juicy. Yum. The onions and mushrooms I got added in there definitely made it that much better. I can’t say much for the lettuce. It tasted old and … disgusting so I kind of left it where it laid.

I got my drink of sweet tea [not pictured]. It didn’t taste good at all. Maybe I went on a bad day but the tea was no where near … sweet. It felt very watered down.

Homemade Chili [cup] | $3.59

I don’t know why I always feel the need to order chili if I can but I did!

I should of said no to the cheese and not to be greedy with the onions. They sure aren’t greedy with the meat though. You will find chunks of ground meat in there. It was really good and I just loved dunking my fries in there.

I really did love this place and I would definitely come back. I’m thinking of bringing the family here one day.

Hey sissy, if you read this … you can come here! They have veggie burgers!

Has anyone checked out PV.Body 30 Day Challenge for today?

Day 3 and it’s a recipe for Protein Pancakes. I didn’t make them but if you did, let me know how they turned out!

It’s finally the weekend! Hope you all have a great one!

Freddy’s

I had NO food last night. So Jenny, Tammy, and I went out.

We had coupons … that was the only reason we tried this place.

I got the #1 combo meal which is a steakburger with fries. And made it large so I can have just a bit more sweet tea in my tummy. I’m not a big fan of the fries. They weren’t very potato-y.

From using my coupon, it was buy a combo, get another steakburger but for free. Fatness at the best level.

Jenny and Tammy chowing down on their foods. They shared a coupon. It was buy a combo meal, get one free.

They also used a coupon of chili cheese fries for $1.99.

I tried it and other than the fries being different, it tastes like Sonic’s Chili and Cheese.

We’re glad we went here. Thank you coupons! It was delicious. I think everyone should go, go go. They have locations in Austin and Dallas as well!!

Then we went home and watched some One Tree Hill. Jenny’s finally on Season 4. Where fake Derek comes back on Prom night. Amazing!

Smashburger

My friend Trisha and I wanted a burger before a meeting on the 29th of March and ended up at:

Smashburger
11309 Bandera Rd #30901
San Antonio, TX
(210) 680-0987
www.smashburger.com

This is my whole meal. Looks pretty scrumptious. Let’s break it down.

First off we have the Mushroom Swiss [garlic sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and mayo on an egg bun] | $5.99. Depending on the size of the burger it costs more. I think I got the 1/3 lb burger. If it was a 1/2 lb, $6.99. I was surprised there were so many mushrooms! Usually when you go out for a burger and get the mushrooms with it, they give you a few slices. This one had mushrooms in every bite. Yummy! And the burger was very juicy.

If you wanted any thing added on to your burger it cost extra. I really wanted a fried egg but for $.99 … no thanks.

If you wanted fries, you had to order them separately. What kind of place is this?! Money suckers! Smashfries [tender and crispy fries tossed with rosemary, olive oil, and garlic] | $2.99. Not a fan of this at all. Wasted my money. It had a weird taste. Guess you have to have that palette to enjoy it. If you ordered a sandwich instead of a burger, the fries would be $1.99. Still don’t think it’s worth it.

Here we have the Fried Pickles [fried dill pickles served with buttermilk ranch dressing] | $2.99. So delicious. I would definitely come back for this! It had some kind of breading that gave it a unique flavor. Yummm!

Overall it’s a good place to eat. Just too pricey. I don’t think I’ll come back anytime soon for anything here.
