[2013] 008/365: Evening Primrose Oil

IMG_20130217_221452

On the drive back home after a much needed relaxing weekend with Michelle. It was great getting it after such busy weekends. *sigh* It was great seeing her and now she’s possibly reading my every words. Eep! I love you, Michelle! Thanks for having me!

Anyway, have you ever heard of Evening Primrose Oil? I’ve been Pinteresting and found out their worth. Given I’m not 100% sure if it’s believable, but what’s the harm in trying, eh?

Evening Primrose Oil is said to be “a great anti-aging supplement seeing improvement in skin tightening and preventing wrinkles. Helps with hormonal acne, PMS, weight control, chronic headaches, menopause, endometriosis, joint pain, diabetes, eczema, MS, infertility, hair, nails, and scalp.”

I took my first pill tonight and I will update on it once it’s sunken in for a few days or so. Hopefully it’ll help my eczema and everything else that’s possibly wrong with me. Fingers crossed!

If you’ve taken it or heard of it before, let me know what you think!

Today was the end of THON 2013 and they raised over $12 million! They never cease to amaze. So wished I was there. Makes you feel SO SO SO alive. Sadly a lot of them couldn’t get into the BJC since it was super packed. Oh well … that just means they’re that great!

Michelle sent me this and it made me all happy inside. Dexter misses me! teehee

[2013] 007/365: A Lazy Day in Lufkin

PicsArt_1361065311630

My favorite of any days is being lazy. I watch episodes of Doctor Who and even watching multiple Harry Potter movies.

Dexter the cat has been good company. He mostly just wants to be touched. This is the first time I’ve “lived” with a cat. Other than the kitty litter smell, I think they’re pretty cool.

You can see the Valentine’s Day Run from For The Love of The Kids. They gave free things along with it because they are amazing. I did my run yesterday morning before heading to Lufkin but they were having problems with their system. It was in the 50s this time around. Eep … seriously need to start training again.

I’ve been watching THON live online a few hours here and a few minutes there. So wishing I was there but I wouldn’t trade hanging out with Michelle either. Our schedules (mostly her’s now) is so busy that whatever time we can get, I’ll take.

You can stop reading if you don’t want to hear about food.

In any case, hope you all had a great Saturday! I know am. More Harry Potter movies. Relaxation at it’s finest.

I love this place. Whenever I see one I want to go and I was so happy when Michelle said we could stop there for a super late breakfast/late lunch.

I ordered The Supreme Omelet [sausage, bacon, sautéed onions & mushrooms with Cheddar Jack served with an English muffin and seasoned country potatoes] | $9.99

I died … I just love their country potatoes SO freaking much. I can’t even explain it. Their food is so good. Oh and we ate for a while and the inside of my omelet was still hot. That’s how it should be.

If you ever see one of these somewhere, stop by and try it out. If it’s not good, let me know … I won’t stop there.

Ah … you’ve guessed it. Chinese food for dinner.

We got Chicken and Brocolli with Rice & Eggroll, Beef and Brocolli with Fried Rice & Eggroll, and Vegetables and Lo Mein.

Food was good.

I told Michelle that we don’t get to eat this fake stuff at home so it’s fun to do so once in a while. She now has a ton of leftovers. teehee
