I love Fridays even though they are the longest days of my life. But the people in it makes every Friday tolerable.
I went to the CPE bright and early to do some FTK work before class. And free breakfast was given to me! Yum!! I didn’t eat it all because it was dang heavy for a morning meal but it was dang good! Bacon (which I’m not a fan of), beans (which makes you fart), potatoes (which I love), sunny side eggs (which weren’t so sunny), and veggies (which made the potatoes yummy).
Then I went to take my Guitar Test. Got an “A”! Whoop! Then went to take my Vocal Test and did HORRIBLE! My accompanist who I’ve never practiced with wouldn’t go to a lower octave for my song so I had to sing it higher. I sounded like a dying cat!
Lunch was served at the CPE! Make your own sandwiches and broccoli soup. Broccoli soup is fattening so I was sad but it was so good and warm in my tummy!! Went to Leadership Challenge class then the FTK meeting.
Went to Habanero’s yet again! Yums! We sat there chilling and talking and it just felt nice. I really enjoy their company. Now all I have to do is learn to be nice to people so that they’ll be my friend.
Patricia, Shayna, Andrew C., Eric S., and I hung out at Eric’s afterwards. We watched an episode of Workaholics. It was hilarious and I can’t believe I’ve never seen it.
Then we played a few games of King’s Cup that soon turned into games of Truth or Dare. WTF, right? That game sucks because I never have good questions to ask people and it makes me share too much about myself. Hopefully what we shared really does stay in that circle. Embarrassing …
Then we played Just Dance 3 on the Xbox Kinect that soon turned into the boys playing Fifa.
It was a fun night even though it was just the five of us. Sometimes that’s all that’s needed. Not wasting money on clubs or bars. Or getting knocked over because of crowds. Just a chill night with great company.
Saturday, I’m ready for you. Homework. Basketball practice. Possible Girls Night with FSA.
My mum needed me to do something for her but instead of calling me and waking me up, she sent me a text to do it whenever I felt like it when I woke up.
Then she bought me one of my favorite dishes for dinner and made one of my favorite veggies! Watercress. If you’ve never had it, you’re missing out.
I guess she knew I slept at 6am last night and wanted to reward me for my hard work.
Thanks mum. You the best.
Sadly, I did have to take a few calls that woke me up from my sleep. And I had to make a few as well. All for the site. I gave up on going back to sleep and worked on some things for it. But now they’re all sent to Andrew C. for changes. I hope he is having a good and relaxing day. I think today is the first day in three/four days I have not Skyped with him.
I love his company, but it feels pretty good not having to use my voice. My voice is scratchy from all the phone calls and Skype meetings I had with him and everyone else in between.
I just finished answering ALL emails sent to me since before, during, and after the start of building those sites. It feels good to come to an empty inbox.
Working a full time job isn’t as stressful as it has been these past few days … but I love it. Seeing the work is viewed by many makes me all happy inside. I’m sure Andrew C. feels the exact same way. Thanks to everyone that’s gone there to check it out.
Now it’s time to relax. Xbox Kinect Dance Central 2 … you and I have a date.
I’m on my winter break and I’m still busy working on school things. I am so dedicated.
The FTK Website and FTK Blog is getting closer and closer to finished.
22 hours until launch.
So excited and scared at the same time. Eep!
This morning I woke up and went to Chinatown to have Brunch with my mum and my aunt’s family.
Then mum and I went shopping. Bought my jacket for when I go to Penn State! Excited!
Then it was Website and Blog working the rest of the time up till now.
Well … if you don’t count eating dinner and my favorite form of exercise nowadays: Dance Central 2. I do the fitness kinds on there and it’s so much fun.
Anyway, it’s time to catch up on blog reading and Netflixing. Night my wonderfuls!
How did I spend my New Years Eve leading up to the New Year?
I woke up bright and early and went to my sissy’s downtown. Picked her and Brett up and we went to get breakfast tacos from Pappas.
Went back and ate with their roommate, Ross, and sissy’s friend; then sissy and I headed to get our nails done, redeeming the certificate my sissy gave me as a present for Christmas. We both got the same color. This picture does not do it’s justice.
We went back to the apartment, chilled, then met up with dad, mum, and June at Olive Garden. Shopped at Academy and dropped sissy and Brett back to their apartment.
Went home, took a nap (hehe), had dinner and played Mahjong with the parents and June. I lost … I never learned to play. It was a lot of fun though. Then mum and June did Dance Central on the Xbox Kinect while I watched. We counted down, ate some snacks, then clicked through some pictures from Christmas and Thanksgiving that my brother uploaded.
It’s been a good day with Family. Just wished I got to see the bro too.
I’m not sure what my New Year Resolutions should ever be.
I have a feeling I’ll never follow through.
- Graduate from College – This is suppose to happen in May. Fingers cross I pass my classes!
- Find a steady job – How does one look for a job? Help!
- Lose 25+ pounds – I really need to bog down on this. Any tips welcomed.
- Run a 5k race – I might have one lined up for October. There’s one in February but I don’t think I’ll be able to do it.
- Stay in touch with friends – It’s always hard for me to do so when I’m gone from a place to long. Maybe by then, I’m okay with sharing my blog …
Everything seems easy and at the same time hard.
Wish me luck!
Do we have any of the same resolutions?
What are yours?
Did you have a good New Years Eve?
I have not posted in 4 days. My fault.
Also I haven’t ran in that many as well. Sorry.
The holidays are meant to be a little loose on goals right? I think so.
This is not my family … nor is this our living room.
My family bought the Xbox Kinect. We danced and worked out and did some adventure games. It was a lot of fun and so carefree that you didn’t even know you have been working out. Therefore not running cancels it out right? I think so.
I will be updating my Christmas soon. Keep a look out.
Until then, I hope your Christmas was amazing.
