Birthday Palooza

I turned a year older yesterday. This birthday marks the best one thus far. Let’s let pictures and a few words capture my Birthday Weekend. I hope you guys had an amazing weekend like me! What amazing thing did you do?

Friday aka Party Time:

I had this day off … wonderful. Perfect. Night plans were changed due to too many people at Cheddar’s. We ended up at Wild Wings Cafe then out for drinks afterward. Thanks to Mallory, Samantha, Amanda, Lauren, Maggie, John, Ronnie, Michael, Nate, Matt, Brett, and Robbie for coming out. I had a lot of fun with y’all and it definitely meant a lot to me since some of y’all were working all day or have finals and such.

Lemon Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting I made for my friends.
House got hot and some of the frosting melted off.
Definitely turning up the AC next time.

Some of the peoples from the night.
Thank you for making my night wonderful!

Monday aka Birth Day:

I was stuck in a conference/workshop all day along with working 2 hours before to catch up on some things. Oy vey. Afterward the work team and the Canadian team that came down for the conference/workshop had a dinner thing at Dave and Buster’s. It was the longest birthday day ever.

Early bird. Already working hard and finally had time to check my phone.
Notifications wazoo.
Wrapped up office done by amazing coworker.
Birthday cupcake from Zuco.

Red Envelopes from Parents and June.

Dave and Buster’s Work Dinner … over $1100 … not counting drinks.
WTF. But the food was delicious.
Birthday Cake. Hope my wish comes true.
Some great coworkers helped me get super lots of tickets … over 3500.
Got a Das Boot and tiny shot glass as a birthday present.
The other tickets went to the other two coworkers.
They chose shot glasses and candy.

Seriously. It’s been amazing. Thank you to EVERYONE that has helped me celebrate. I’ve been giddy. Thank you thank you. All the phone calls, text messages, notifications on every social media … I am so thankful for all of you.

Happy Tuesday!

I have internet again. Hallelujah! My Feedly is over 400 posts. I’ve been making my way as much as I can but … you know how it goes.

My birthday is coming up this Monday so tomorrow night (Friday night) I’ll be celebrating with some peeps.

Doing anything fun this weekend?

Happy Friday! Stay Positive & Think Good Thoughts!

Pictures from the past few days …. Enjoy!

For the coworkers.
Sprinkles all around.

Not Just Any Other Workday

My work had a crawfish boil today. They blocked out 12-4pm for us so we could enjoy crawfish, burgers, and whatnot. We drove to a park where they hired people to cook for us. Look at that giant pot hitched to the back of a truck. That’s how we do it in Texas …

Pile of critters. It was great getting to mingle with people outside of my team and talk to those that we work with but rarely see. When 1:30pm hit, everyone was practically done. Bossman told us to get the eff out and don’t return to the office. Um … ksweet.

Zuco and I had plans to go shopping but being able to go earlier and get done earlier … score! Look at all her bags of goodies!!

This was one of the only things I bought. (The other was eyeliner.)

Original price: $69.99.
Clearance: $50.
Birthday Month: $10 off.

Wayyyy cheaper than it should be. Great to wear to workkkkkkkkk!

Got my free birthday gift from Sephora! I thought it was funny they made a video but it’s cute and so thoughtful. I looooooooove Benefit a lot so it was a perfect match!!

When I saw this on my feed after shopping, I about had a heart attack. Someone actually reads my blog … and remembers something from it! Shout out to the amazing Rachael from Happy Healthy Runner. Love her! She has found my spot!

Plus on top of all that, I got a call from the lovely Samantha who I haven’t seen in a while. She wanted to tell me she found an apartment with an extra room aka the study. Pretty much saying I have a place to stay if I ever want to just get away from home or sleepover. Great friend who thinks about me. Love her to death.

Sorry for the jumbled mess of a blog post. I have to get ready for my Skype date with the lovely Patricia and hopefully Gary and Shayna.

Birthday Celebration Galore

Don’t forget about my giveaway!! Over on Wednesday!

Last night was pretty cahrazy! Lots of birthday celebrations. One of the best nights I’ve had in a long while.

First started with going to my Uncle G’s house for his birthday celebration. We had a crawfish boil. Omg. Craving has been fulfilled. I could of done with a few more pounds though.

Their kitty cat. Pretty evil one. Was a stray and they took him in. He doesn’t like people.

Their neighbor’s kitty. Very loving and LOVES to be petted. He wanted crawfish. 😉

I jetted out of there once I shoveled a piece of birthday cake in my mouth. I had to change and jet off to another birthday celebration.

My coworker, Tony C., was celebrating his birthday with his family and had invited me. I knew his two cousins, Osvaldo and Zuco, since we all worked together as well. Plus, they talked about their family so much, I felt I knew them all!

I had to skip out on Top Golf since I was at my Uncle’s but they were going out to Wild West and I was all down for that!

I seriously had one of the best nights I’ve ever had in a long time. They are seriously so much fun. Never a dull moment and lots of laughter was shared.

Oh … and a hot bartender, Tylor (I think that’s how you spell it …), made it an even funner night. I got to take a pic with him but all the photos are on another phone. Boo.

I am not ready for work. So tired. But this week I have some pretty awesome plans. Can’t wait!
